- Flood Advisory For
Boone County In Central Indiana
Hamilton County In Central Indiana
Southern Clinton County In Central Indiana
Southern Tipton County In Central Indiana
Southwestern Madison County In Central Indiana
- Until 130 Am Edt
- At 1029 Pm Edt National Weather Service Doppler Radar
Indicated Thunderstorms With Heavy Rainfall Moving South Across
The Advisory Area. Doppler Radar Estimated 1 To 2 Inches Had
Fallen Over Much Of The Advisory Area Since 9 Pm. Up To An
Additional Inch Is Possible In Parts Of Boone And Hamilton
Counties Through 11 Pm.
- Runoff From This Excessive Rainfall Will Cause Minor Flooding To
Occur Especially Along Small Streams And Near Low Water
Crossings. Some Locations That Will Experience Minor Flooding
Include Carmel Fishers Lebanon Noblesville And Zionsville.
Several Inches Of Water Was Reported On State Route 47 Near
Thorntown.
Precautionary/preparedness Actions
Be Especially Cautious At Night When It Is Harder To Recognize The
Dangers Of Flooding. If Flooding Is Observed Act Quickly. Do Not
Drive Through Areas Where Water Covers The Roadway.
Do Not Drive Your Vehicle Into Areas Where The Water Covers The
Roadway. The Water Depth May Be Too Great To Allow Your Car To Cross
Safely.
