Farming & selling produce in 6th grade

“Walk the Line.”

Pumpkin pie

What type of radio station do you listen to?

Varies a lot. I like Rolling Stones, Augustana, Dave Matthews Band, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, George Strait

What you most like to do in your free time?

I love plants, the outdoors and farming; so gardening and hiking in nature preserves are my favorite things to do.

If you could meet any person, dead or alive, who would it be?

John James Audubon, Tecumseh, James Pollard Espy, Benjamin Franklin (these two are fathers of meteorology in the 18th & 19th centuries), George Strait (seems like a down-home, laid-back guy from Texas that I feel like I can relate to)

A lot. Ten hours makes me feel best

What did your first day in weather / TV teach you about the business?

Go with your own analysis and gut when forecasting the weather. I’d rather be wrong with my own work and learn from it, then copy others be right.

Your most memorable moment at WLFI?

Having a severe weather outbreak two days into the new job.
