LPD investigates missing person report

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Lafayette Police is asking for your help locating a missing person.

Neal Curtis Bastian, 25, was first reported missing by his family on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

Police say he was last seen on the morning of Saturday, Jan. 18 in the 1200 block of N. 13th Street in Lafayette. Bastian had told family and friends he was going fishing and was carrying a backpack and fishing pole.

He is described as a white male, 5-foot-10 inches tall and approximately 200 pounds. He also wears glasses. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a green zip-up jacket with a fur collar and a black stocking cap.

Police say Bastian does not have a car and may have used public transportation.
