Ivy Tech Community College and MatchBOX Co-working Studio are teaming up to prepare students interested in being an entrepreneur. The announcement came Thursday morning at Lafayette City Hall.
As part of the partnership, MatchBOX will be used as a resource for Ivy Tech’s Entrepreneurship program.
Ivy Tech Chancellor David Bathe said it’s a great way for students to network and develop new ideas.
“We have a center now, where people can begin the development of businesses that will help promote the economy as a whole in the community. And they’re doing that in a location where they’re sharing ideas and energy with others,” said Bathe.
Ivy Tech’s program teaches students how to create new ventures, develop business plans and grow a small business.
