TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI)- As of about 5 p.m. Saturday, all power to Tipmont REMC customers has been restored.

A transmission line outage kept some Tipmont REMC customers without power for several hours.

Tipmont REMC spokeswoman Stacia Clements said the transmission line that brings power to the Wea and Pop Center substations went out. As of 2:30 p.m. Saturday, the power to the Pop Center substation was restored.

No word on what caused the transmission line to go out.
