Emergency crews free a woman after car rolls in ditch

CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI)- Emergeny crews had to free a woman Monday afternoon after her car went off the road and rolled over.

Carroll County Sheriff’s deputies said they responded to the call around 12:30 p.m. The roll over occurred the intersection of East 900 North and East County Line Road.

Deputies say the woman was traveling east, when she hit a patch of ice, slid off the road and rolled into the ditch.

Buck Creek firefighters were called to rescue her.

Deputies said the woman was taken to an area hospital, but did not have any life-threatening injuries.

East 900 North was shut down for about an hour.
