Police seek South Street Circle K robber

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Lafayette Police are looking for an armed robber who held up the Circle K gas station on South Street, near I-65, late afternoon on Wednesday.

A clerk at the station told officers a man entered the gas station,  pulled a gun out and demanded money. The clerk turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect, who then fled the scene on foot.

Police said the man did not fire any shots and no one was hurt. The man is described as a thin white male and around 5-feet 8-inches tall with a dark mustache. He was last seen wearing a black or dark blue sock hat, a green jacket and jeans.

LPD reports the individual is still at large. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
