TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – Slick roads continue to cause multiple slide-offs and crashes Saturday morning.
According to the Indiana State Police, seven crashes on the southbound lane of I-65 near mile marker 179 restricted traffic Saturday morning. Two drivers were transported to hospital with complaints of neck pain. The roadway was closed just under an hour.
In Montgomery County, the eastbound lane of I-74 is down to one lane near mile marker 40. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said a roll-over crash prompted the lane closure. The roadway is now open.
Indiana State Police encourage drivers to be extra cautious and take their time because of the slick conditions.
