Woman crashes car into building

WILLIAMSPORT, Ind. (WLFI) – Around 6 p.m. Saturday, the Williamsport Police Department said they responded to a one vehicle crash at the Indiana Farm Bureau Building.

Williamsport resident, Mary J. Figueras, was driving westbound on State Road 28. Police say when she rounded a curve, she lost control and crashing into the northwest corner of the building.

Police said icy and snowy road conditions caused the wreck.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Williamsport Fire Department and Warren County EMS also responded to the crash.

Figueras was not injured, and no one was in the building at the time of the crash. Police estimated more than $10,000 worth of damage was done to the building.
