INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department announced Monday morning that three people had been arrested, including two teenagers, after a 16-year-old was shot and killed in January.
According to IMPD, on Saturday, detectives arrested a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old in connection with the murder of 16-year-old Tyrell Alford. Alford died after a shooting in the 2500 block of Graydon Street on Jan. 2.
Police say the 15-year-old and 17-year-old arrested face preliminary charges of murder. Tomecka Carpenter, 34, was also arrested and has a preliminary charge of assisting a criminal.
