TIPPECANOE CO., Ind. (WLFI) – More help is coming to Tippecanoe County students needing to file their Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
Students and families that live in Tippecanoe County are eligible to attend any of the three sessions of FAFSA Days. In Indiana, the deadline to file the 2013-2014 FAFSA is March 10.
The FAFSA form is required to apply for federal student aid, such as federal grants, loans and work-study. The FAFSA is also used to apply for most state and college financial aid, in addition to some private financial aid.
The Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette has contracted with The National Center for College Costs to host FAFSA Days at three high schools in February. It is a free service for area families and students.
