CLINTON CO., Ind. (WLFI) – A Clinton County teen was injured in a snowmobile crash Monday evening.

According to conservation officers, the incident occurred on 3000-block of 300 East, about 5 miles northeast of Frankfort. They said 17-year-old Kyle Davis was operating a snowmobile in his yard, when he hit a snow drift throwing him from the machine and into the garage wall.

Davis had injuries to his head and wrist, which are not expected to be life-threatening. He was taken to St. Vincent Hospital in Frankfort by ambulance.

Investigators said Davis was wearing a helmet.
