LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Police arrest two more people in connection with a robbery last week in Lafayette.

Alexis Daniels, 18, and Meghan Cheshier, 17, were arrested for burglary with serious bodily injury and robbery with a deadly weapon.  Officers said Cheshier has been waived to adult court.

Police said a home on the 2500 block of Eckman Drive was broken into Thursday and a woman was assaulted with a handgun.

As News 18 reported at the time, three men were also arrested after the incident.

Police said the crime was drug-related and not a random act.
