CARROLL CO., Ind. (WLFI) –  According to Carroll County EMA director Dana Jeffries, high water is causing several road closures in the area. The high water originates from an ice jam that is working itself down the Wabash River.

County Road 875 North at Carrollton Road is closed off, and Carrollton Road from the Carrollton Bridge to County Road 500 West is closed.

County Road 500 West to 1000 North to Towpath Road is also closed due to high water.

Emergency management says to avoid this area and surrounding areas due to weather conditions.
