Lafayette man arrested after traffic stop

DAYTON, Ind. (WLFI) – A Lafayette man is arrested after police find marijuana and a handgun during a traffic stop.

Around 10:15 p.m. Monday, Dayton police said Tyler Robinson, 20, was driving along State Road 38 East, near Yost Road. Officers pulled him over after noticing he failed to dim his brights for oncoming traffic.

During the traffic stop, police found about two pounds of marijuana, more than $2,000 in cash and a handgun.

Robinson was booked into the Tippecanoe County Jail.
