LPD seeking answers in fatal hit-and-run

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – The Lafayette Police Department will hold a press conference Wednesday in regards to last week’s fatal hit-and-run. Police ask individuals with information to please come forward.

On Tuesday, Feb. 18, Lafayette police reported a fatal hit-and-run occurred on Union Street in Lafayette. Police are still seeking answers, and in turn have decided to hold a press conference.

LPD will hold the press conference Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Lafayette City Hall in the Council Common Chambers.

Officials said the purpose of the press conference is to ask the public for any information that could be helpful in determining what vehicle struck the victim, and who was driving the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Members of the victim’s family will be in attendance.
