D.C. Report: First stop U.S. Chamber of Commerce

WASHINGTON (WLFI) – Lawmakers of Greater Lafayette and Tippecanoe County made their annual trip to Washington, D.C. The focus of the trip is to discuss the future of Greater Lafayette.

On Wednesday, area lawmakers made the first stop of the three-day trip to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The delegation will hear about three topics – transportation, immigration and energy.

The D.C. delegation will spend the remainder of the afternoon visiting with Brian Lamb of C-Span and meeting with the Republican Senatorial Committee. Dan will detail those visits coming up tonight on News 18 at Five and Six.
