LPD officers respond to stabbing on Schuyler Ave.

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – The Lafayette Police Department said one man was taken to the hospital after being stabbed multiple times.

LPD officers were called to a report of a stabbing at Schuyler Apartments on the 1500 block of Schuyler Avenue in Lafayette around 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Police said Frank Marshall, 25, and Diunte Moon, 20, were arguing over a noise complaint inside one of the rooms at Schuyler Apartments.

Authorities said Marshall was stabbed in the abdomen twice. Police said Marshall was transported to Franciscan St. Elizabeth Central with non-life threatening injuries. He was later released.

Moon was arrested on charges of burglary while armed with a deadly weapon and battery with a deadly weapon
