INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) – The National Weather Service has cancelled a winter weather advisory for much of the viewing area.

Boone, Carroll, Clinton, Fountain, Howard, Tippecanoe, Tipton and Warren counties have had the advisory lifted.

The National Weather Service says snow and sleet accumulation has moved south of the area, but there is still a small chance for snow this afternoon. Slick roads will continue to make travel difficult for drivers.

Boone and Montgomery counties continue to be under a winter storm warning effective until 7 a.m. Monday.
