LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Do you remain calm under pressure? Do you like to help others? Maybe, you enjoy talking on the phone? The Lafayette Crisis Center could use your help.

The center is looking for more individuals from our community interested in volunteering their time to help others. The Crisis Center is hosting a panel discussion at the Mental Health Association, 914 South St., in Lafayette on Wednesday, March 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The purpose of the event is not only to recruit more volunteers to the Lafayette Crisis Center, but also to inform the public about the center. The community is invited to come and ask questions to the volunteers to get a better understanding of what the Crisis Center is all about.

If you would like more information on volunteering, please visit the website of the Lafayette Crisis Center.
