WHITE CO., Ind. (WLFI) – Emergency crews were called to a hog barn fire in White County Wednesday afternoon.

Buffalo-Liberty Township Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched at 1:40 p.m. for a structure fire at Dahlenburg Farms, 8533 E. 800 North, in White County. The owner, Daniel Dahlenburg, told news 18 that his hog barn caught fire. He said crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly, but the barn has extensive damage.

Dahlenburg said luckily the barn was empty, so there are no injuries of persons, hogs or livestock.

Also assisting on scene was the Idaville Volunteer Fire Department.
