One driver involved in Laf. crash cited for invalid DL

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – One of the drivers involved in a crash in Lafayette that sent two people to the hospital is cited for not having a valid driver’s license.

Lafayette police said the crash happened Tuesday night when an SUV and a car collided in the intersection of Ninth Street and Veterans Memorial Parkway on the city’s south side.

Officers said two passengers in the SUV were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the car Joshua Maddox was not injured.

Police said the driver of the SUV Adrian Garcia did not have a valid driver’s license. Officers issued him a citation.
