LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – The City of Lafayette has announced updates to current and upcoming road projects concerning the areas of Earl Avenue and State Street.
Lafayette officials said that the intersection of Earl Avenue and Kossuth Street will be opened by March 10. However, until mid-March that intersection will have temporary lane restrictions with flaggers for traffic control.
Construction on State Street will begin on March 10 and continue through mid-April. State Street will be closed between 22nd Street and Earl Avenue and traffic will be diverted along the detour route shown on the map.
Earl Avenue will also be closed between Brice Street and Kossuth Street for construction until mid-March. Traffic will be diverted along the detour route shown on the map.
Temporary lane restrictions will affect Earl Avenue from State Street to Main Street and continue until late March. Flaggers will be utilized as traffic control.
