Driver comes forward after crashing vehicle into home

TIPPECANOE CO., Ind. (WLFI) – The man who drove his car into a home late Thursday night has come forward.

Dallas Switzer Jr., 42, was arrested for leaving the scene of a property damage crash. He was not injured in the crash but his Chevrolet Silverado was impounded following the collision.

The crash happened at 11:27 p.m. on the 200 block of Furlong Drive, a neighborhood off Veterans Memorial Parkway near Meijer.

Deputies got the call from the homeowner after the vehicle smashed through a wall, even hitting a car inside the garage with enough force to move it. The three residents at the home were not injured.
