Two law enforcement vehicles involved in crash

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Two law enforcement vehicles were involved in a crash Saturday near the Lafayette Police Department.

According to LPD, a Lafayette police car was driving on Sixth Street. The car drove through a red light and struck a Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s car at the South Street intersection. The drivers of both vehicles were not hurt in the collision.

The intersection was closed and traffic was re-routed for less than an hour as both cars were removed from the scene by wreckers.
