Motorist drives off road after falling asleep at wheel

CARROLL, CO. (WLFI) – A driver fell asleep at the wheel and drove off the road into a drainage ditch in Carroll County.

Carroll County Sheriff’s deputies said a car traveling north on State Road 25 N., just south of Burrows, Ind., ran off the road and into a drainage ditch.

There were three adults and one child in the car at the time of the incident.

According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, the driver admitted that he fell asleep at the wheel.

Deputies said there were no injuries to report. The vehicle was able to be driven from the scene.
