Darlington bank robbed at gunpoint

MONTGOMERY CO., Ind. (WLFI) – Authorities are seeking the individual who robbed a Darlington bank Wednesday afternoon.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said the Fountain Trust Bank in Darlington, Ind. was robbed Wednesday at 1:13 p.m. The individual took money and fled the scene. No injuries were reported.

Detective Matt McCarty said the person of interest is described as a white male, approximately 6-feet tall and weighing bewtween 180 to 200 pounds.

McCarty said upon entering the bank, the man displayed a handgun and collected an unknown amount of cash. He was last seen heading westbound from the bank on Main Street in a dark colored vehicle.
