LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – The Lafayette Police Department warns drivers to use caution at all intersections because of reduced visibility.

Officers said wind is causing blowing and drifting issues and causing snow to partially cover traffic lights.

Police also reported two sets of traffic lights lost power earlier Wednesday morning. However, both traffic lights have power restored and are now operational.

LPD also sent another advisory Wednesday afternoon saying a large number of traffic lights are without power in the southwest portion of Lafayette.
