BCSC superintendent search underway

BENTON CO., Ind. (WLFI) – Interviews are underway to find a new Superintendent for Benton Community Schools.

The first round of interviews were scheduled to start the end of February. The second round of interviews were slated to start this week.

A new superintendent is expected to be appointed April 28.

As News 18 previously reported, Gregg Hoover is serving as the interim superintendent after former Superintendent Destin Haas had his tenure come to a controversial end in October 2013.

Haas is now the superintendent of the North Newton School Corporation.
