Nine Irish Brothers prepares for St. Patrick’s Day Festival

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – St. Patrick’s Day may not be until Monday, but Nine Irish Brothers is prepared to celebrate early with its 8th annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival.

The festival runs until Monday and will feature a parade tomorrow at 11 a.m. on Brown Street in West Lafayette.

The event will have live music from several bands at both the Lafayette and West Lafayette locations.

General Manager Matt Rose says this time of the year is their busiest, but they are excited for it to be here.

“It’s a very busy weekend. We have people of all ages coming in all the time. We’ve got the parade at 11 o’clock on Saturday. That’s usually the big draw for families. It’s just going to be a good celebration of Irish heritage and culture,” said Rose.

In case you show up and forget to wear green, the pub will also be selling St. Patrick’s Day shirts to protect you from pinchers. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
