Armed Robbery at VP on 18th Street

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – The Village Pantry at the intersection of 18th Street and Brady Lane in Lafayette was the scene of an armed robbery early Friday morning.

Police said the store clerk reported the robbery around 1 a.m.

A man had walked into the store, demanded money while displaying a handgun and then fled north with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police described the individual as a black male, around 5-feet 11-inches and dressed all in black.
