FRANKFORT, Ind. (WLFI) – A Frankfort man is arrested on child pornography charges after a four month investigation spanning across the country.

The investigation of Frankfort resident Kevin Lloyd, 44, began in Jefferson County, Colo. According to Deputy Police Chief Glenn Talbot, Frankfort police assisted in the cross-state investigation.

Talbot said Frankfort police have since taken over the investigation from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

“The end result of this months-long, multi-jurisdictional investigation is that a suspected criminal who was a threat to children has been captured,” Talbot said. “We appreciate the hard work of our fellow law enforcement agencies in this case whose dedicated efforts mean a dangerous individual is now off the streets.”

Officers executed a search warrant at Lloyd’s home in the 500 block of W. Washington Street Friday. Frankfort police arrested Lloyd on two Class D felonies charges.

He was transported and being held in the Clinton County Jail. Lloyd faces preliminary charges of conspiracy to possess child pornography and solicitation.
