Tip to deputies leads to meth lab discovery

PITTSBURG, Ind. (WLFI) – A tip to law enforcement led to two arrests and the discovery of a meth lab in Carroll County Thursday.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office received a tip of a possible methamphetamine lab in Pittsburg, Ind. Deputies responded to the residence, with assistance from the Delphi Police Department and the Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team.

Further investigation revealed an active meth lab on the property. Deputies arrested Tracy Cody, 22, and Jamie Davis, 25, both of Pittsburg.

Cody and Davis were arrested on preliminary charges of an illegal drug lab, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance.

Carroll County Sheriff’s Office said bond has been set at $50,000, plus surety.
