Jim Irsay arrested in Carmel

CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) – Hamilton County Jail officials and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office confirms Jim Irsay, the owner of the Indianapolis Colts, has been arrested in Carmel.

Officials say the arrest happened at 11:41 p.m. Sunday night.

Irsay has been preliminarily charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance.

Officials say Irsay is currently at the Hamilton County Jail.

The bond for Irsay was set at $22,500.
