LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – The City of Lafayette issued a street closure notice for residents near Columbian Park.
The city will close Ferry Street, between 24th and 26th streets, for construction on storm sewers tie-ins.
City officials said that portion of Ferry Street will be closed Monday, March 24 through Friday, March 28. The city said pending that there are not any problems, the road should re-open on Friday by 4:30 p.m.
Lafayette city engineers said signage will be in place to redirect traffic and pedestrians during the construction closure. Local access to anyone residing in the area will be maintained.
The storm sewer tie-in project will be completed by Meyer Najem Construction, LLC and Denney Excavating. All work will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
