Frankfort woman pleads guilty after hitting kids with vehicle

CLINTON CO., Ind. (WLFI) – A Frankfort woman pleads guilty to striking two children with her vehicle while driving drunk.

Heather McDaniel, 40, had been charged with five felonies in August 2013 for striking two children walking their bikes along State Road 39 in Clinton County. Siblings Stephen “Hunter” Davis and McKenna Davis were both airlifted to Indianapolis following the the incident.

On Tuesday, McDaniel pleaded guilty to two counts of causing serious bodily injury when operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class D felony.
