BARTHOLOMEW CO., Ind. (WISH) – An Edinburgh woman described by police as a “major player” in the drug world has been arrested.

Tammy Jo Money, 44, was picked up by police during a weekend traffic stop in Hope.

The Republic reports police in Edinburgh began investigating Money early last year after receiving several complaints of drug dealing.

The Republic says undercover officers bought methamphetamine from Money on three separate occasions last summer.

During the weekend traffic stop in Hope, officers found two bags of marijuana Money’s purse. During a body search, police found pills in a tin container.

Money faces numerous charges and she is currently being held at the Bartholomew County Jail.
