Clay Bowl-A-Thon to raise money for YWCA

LAFAYETTE, Ind (WLFI) – Community members including the Greater Lafayette Clay Guild came together to throw bowls at the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette on Saturday afternoon.

The bowls are for the Clay Bowl Giving Project, which benefits the YWCA’s Domestic Violence Intervention and Prevention program. Nancy Grenard of the Greater Lafayette Clay guild says they surpassed their goal of 200 bowls.

”I believe we got 200 plus today. And we had some local celebrities here earlier, and they were having a great time too.”

The bowls will be sold at the Clay Bowl Lunch which will be at the YWCA on April 17.
