Police: Two teens arrested after attacking, robbing man

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Two teenage boys are in custody after police say they attacked and robbed a man near Erie and Vinton Streets Saturday evening.

According to Lafayette Police, the robbery victim says both boys, ages 15 and 16, attacked him and took his wallet as he was walking on Erie Street. After doing so, both suspects ran a short distance to a waiting vehicle and left the area.

Police responded to the intersection just before 9 p.m. and located the vehicle a short time later. Officers later found the stolen wallet and arrested both juveniles.
