TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – While some kids are spending part of their spring break at the YMCA’s Straight Arrow Day Camp.

More than 85 campers gathered at the YMCA’s spring break camp. Throughout the week, kids will learn about healthy living and participate in a number of indoor and outdoor activities.

Camp director Maggie Allexsaht said it is great to see kids back at camp and playing outside.

“Having had so much snow and being cooped up inside, I think they’re all just really excited to be outside even if it’s cold. They’re enjoying running around and finally taking in that fresh air,” said Allexsaht.

Registration for the YMCA’s summer camp is also open.
