WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Tippecanoe County makes the top ten in a study ranking the state’s healthiest counties.

Out of Indiana’s 92 counties, Tippecanoe ranks as the 10th healthiest. The survey released Wednesday assesses health outcomes based on 29 factors that influence health including smoking, high school graduation rates and physical activity.

As for other counties in the News 18 viewing area, Warren takes the 19th spot. Carroll and Clinton come in at 30 and 31. White County has a ranking of 36th. Fountain, Benton and Jasper can be found at 45, 47 and 48 respectively. Cass County was the lowest ranking county in the viewing area at 54.
