Quilt guild hosts ‘Festival of Quilts’

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – Both novice and longtime quilters are invited to the Old Tippecanoe Quilt Guild’s biennial show, “A Festival of Quilts.”

Visitors will be able to view more than 120 quilts on display, visit a trading post with gently used quilting items and purchase materials from vendors.

This year’s theme for the quilt challenge is “With a Song in your Heart” and will feature quilts inspired by music and song.

Linda Fry, president of the quilt guild, appeared on News 18 This Morning and said the money raised from the quilt show allows the organization to fund its charitable projects and operating expenses.

“A Festival of Quilts” is Saturday, March 29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Home Economics building at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds. Admission is $6.
