The Taste releases its 2014 lineup

TIPPECANOE CO., Ind. (WLFI) – The 33rd annual Taste of Tippecanoe has released this year’s musical lineup.

The event, presented by the Tippecanoe Arts Federation, will be Saturday, June 21 from 4 p.m. to midnight. The festival with a primary focus on food and music is the largest in the region, according to TAF officials.

TAF supports activities of over 200 arts and cultural organizations in 14 Indiana counties. Their educational services are delivered to over 500,000 individuals through funds raised by the Taste of Tippecanoe. TAF has contributed over a million dollars to the arts over the multi-decades run of the event.

The musical lineup is a big part of what the Taste is known for — providing a platform for area musicians to showcase their talents. This year’s lineup includes the following artists:


•  Nine Pound Gun – 4 p.m.
•  Kink Ador – 5:30 p.m.
•  Moonshine Mason & the Rot Gut Gang – 7 p.m.
•  Green Room Rockers – 9 p.m.
•  Scott Greeson & Trouble with Monday – 11 p.m.


•  The Clutter – 4 p.m.
•  Jason Wells Effect – 5:30 p.m.
•  Shiny Penny – 7 p.m.
•  Kramus – 9 p.m.
•  The Ark Band – 11 p.m.


•  White Vinyl Sky – 4 p.m.
•  Flight Like Sin – 5:30 p.m.
•  Jennie DeVoe – 7 p.m.
•  Michael Kelsey & L.D. Miller – 9 p.m.
•  Mixtapes – 11 p.m.


•  Chase Cotten & Friends – 4 p.m.
•  Seth Bieneman – 5:30 p.m.
•  Michael Longcor – 7 p.m.
•  Brigha McTavish – 9 p.m.
•  Clave Caribe – 11 p.m.

Tickets for the event go on sale April 1, $5 in advance and $10 at the gate. Children 12 and younger receive free admission with an accompanying adult ticket purchase.
