WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – An art exhibit at a West Lafayette church is helping spread the message of love.

The “You and Me” exhibit at Saint Thomas Aquinas tells the story of several people and choices they make. The Sisters of Life are based out of New York City and first put on the exhibit in Madrid, Spain.

Visitors wear headphones and listen to testimonies from people the sisters have helped, with topics including abortion, pornography, addiction and marriage.

Sister Grace Dominic, with the Sisters of Life said she hopes the stories will help people who need to make difficult decisions.

“Women who are pregnant and find themselves in a difficult situation. [Those] who are in crisis, or who need to know their own dignity and worth. In order for them to be able to make a decision for love, they must first know that they are loved, said Dominic.

Purdue senior Caire McClain said she was blown away.

“I was very blown-away. It was amazing. Probably at the first banner, I started crying. I’m a very emotional person. We should all be given a chance at life. We are all loved by God,” said McClain.

Sister Dominic added, “God has a beautiful plan for you. Not just for maybe the child that you are carrying, but for you personally. A life of freedom. A life of love.”

The exhibit runs through Sunday in the basement of Saint Thomas Aquinas, 535 W. State Street in West Lafayette.
