GREATER LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – “Build, connect, inform.” That’s the theme of this year’s Greater Lafayette Commerce Business Expo.
More than 100 businesses and organizations will be on hand to help other businesses network and grow at the event on Thursday, April 3.
Kathryn Byrd, assistant manager of the expo, said, “The expo is really a premier business-to-business networking opportunity for people in the community. We have a hundred-plus businesses that will be attending on Thursday, and it’s really a condensed time for people to come network, meet with other businesses and see what the community has to offer.”
Mark Sweval of Speedpro Imaging is a GLC member and said his business is excited to showcase some of the new technology it’s introduced within the past year, as well as meet with new potential customers.
The expo itself is free, but there is also a lunch-and-learn session that costs $10 for GLC members to participate or $15 for non-members. The session focuses on how to use the media to spread the word about your business.
The expo runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Four Points by Sheraton hotel on 1600 Cumberland Avenue.
