LEBANON, Ind. (WLFI) – Starting Wednesday work on a new architectural sign will mean lane restrictions for drivers along Interstate 65 and State Road 39 in Boone County.

According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, north and southbound traffic on I-65 will be down to two lanes as crews work on the sign. It will be displayed on the State Road 39 Bridge in Lebanon.

INDOT officials said there will be occassional closures at night, which will restrict traffic to one lane on I-65.

On State Road 39, drivers will be restricted to one lane in each direction.

The contractor, Reith-Riley Construction Company Inc., will be adding the sign with funds provided by the city of Lebanon. The work is set to be complete by the end of June.
