Lafayette Kiwanis Club honors area kids


WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Some Miller Elementary students are being honored for their citizenship by the Lafayette Kiwanis Club.

Lafayette Kiwanis handed out their annual Terrific Kids awards at MCL Cafeteria in West Lafayette. One student from each classroom was nominated for how they behave and treat others. Students walked up with their parents and were given a certificate.

Fourth grade student Danielle Morinskey said she just likes to help others.

“In school, I participate and I help others. Whether it’s personally or whether they just need help on their work, ” Morinskey said.
