Woman, 3 children escape fire in Otterbein

OTTERBEIN, Ind. (WLFI) – Emergency crews respond to a fire in Otterbein Friday morning.

Around 9:30 a.m. Friday, the Otterbein Fire Department responded to a fire at 516 W. Darby Drive. A woman there called in the fire after noticing smoke and flames coming from her laundry room.

The fire spread to the nearby kitchen and bathroom, but was put out with help from the Wabash Township Fire Department.

The woman and three children inside made it out safely.
