Kokomo grandma accused of growing marijuana

KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) — Police in Kokomo arrested a 71-year-old woman accused of growing marijuana in her home, our sister station WISH-TV’s news partner the Kokomo Tribune reports.

Police searched Jo Jordan’s home after midnight Sunday and discovered about 200 marijuana plants. She was arrested on preliminary charges of marijuana possession, dealing marijuana, cultivating marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance.

Jordan’s grandson, 22-year-old Tegan Karns, was also arrested on a preliminary charge of visiting a common nuisance, which is a misdemeanor.
