Massey to transfer from Purdue women’s basketball program

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Purdue Sports) – Sophomore forward Joslyn Massey has decided to transfer from the Purdue women’s basketball program and has been granted her release by head coach Sharon Versyp on Tuesday. The 6-0, Detroit native appeared in 23 games over the last two seasons for the Boilermakers, averaging 3.1 minute per game.

“We wish Joslyn the best of luck in her future endeavors, academically and athletically, and thank her for all the hard work over the past two seasons,” said Versyp.

“I would like to thank Purdue University and our coaching staff for the opportunity to play the last two years here,” said Massey. My journey as a Boilermaker has been awesome and definitely unforgettable. All of the connections and relationships I have made here at Purdue will remain with me as I move on to the next chapter of my career.”

Massey played in 23 games in her two-year Boilermaker career.
